Gentle breezes ruffle the curtains. Freshly cut zinnias, Mexican sunflowers, and asters reside in a vase on the table by the bed. Cottton sheets that smell as sweet as if they were sun-dried, peek over the edge of the bed's coverelet. A sumputous down comforter rests at the foot of the bed for cool Maine nights.
